Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Team Lead to join our team at Metro Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our network infrastructure team, ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuity of our network services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of network engineers and technicians to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement network strategies to support business growth and improve network performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other business systems.
  • Manage network resources, including budget, personnel, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including technical guides and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in network infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies.
  • Experience with network management tools and software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional certifications in network infrastructure management (e.g. CCNA, CCNP).
  • Experience with cloud-based network services.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
