Administrative Support Specialist

Namarc Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide administrative support to our staff while also contributing to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Office Administration: Provide administrative support to our team, including record-keeping, data entry, and maintaining manual and computerized filing systems.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, meetings, and seminars, as well as confirm event details with attendees.
- Customer Service: Respond to telephone calls and relay messages, providing excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
- Data Management: Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions and operations.
- Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operation of the department.
- Newcomer and Refugee Support: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
- Indigenous People Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, provide cultural competency training, and promote a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
