We are seeking a highly skilled Schedule Project Coordinator to join our Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction. This role will play a pivotal part in driving collaboration as it relates to complex project designs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide guidance, support and assistance to ensure collaboration with our Project Managers and support consultants from concept through to construction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the project team in developing and maintaining baseline schedules;
  • Collaborating to keep schedules up-to-date and accurate while prioritizing work assessment analysis;
  • Analyzing schedule data and variances to identify and troubleshoot key project issues;
  • Leading and supporting the project team with client schedule-related meetings;
  • Effectively applying project-specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau's health, safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of hands-on scheduling/planning experience in the construction industry;
  • A strong understanding of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control;
  • Previous experience working with scheduling software, including Primavera 6;
  • Familiarity with government contracts and Secret-level clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in both English and French;
  • Completed a construction-related certificate program, diploma or degree.
