About the RoleThe Storeroom Clerk is a key member of our Purchasing Department, responsible for procuring and managing inventory for our hotel. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
- Inspect all incoming goods to verify quality and accuracy of orders.
- Handle deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods, including loading and unloading carts and placing items in designated storerooms.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and organized loading dock and receiving area.
- Verify receiving documents against electronic purchase orders to identify any discrepancies or price variances.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and be available to work all shifts as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors.
- Previous experience in a similar role and environment, with a proven ability to work independently and multitask.
