About the Role

The Storeroom Clerk is a key member of our Purchasing Department, responsible for procuring and managing inventory across the hotel. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Inspect incoming goods to verify quality and quantity
  • Manage the receiving and storage of inventory, including loading and unloading carts
  • Ensure the loading dock and receiving areas are secure, clean, and organized
  • Verify receiving documents against electronic purchase orders to identify discrepancies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
