About the Role

The Storeroom and Inventory Coordinator is a key member of the Purchasing Department, responsible for procuring and managing inventory for our hotel. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Inspect all incoming goods to verify quality and quantity, and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing team.
  • Manage the receiving and storage of inventory, including loading and unloading carts and placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure the loading dock and receiving areas are secure, clean, and organized.
  • Verify receiving documents against electronic purchase orders to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including lifting and moving inventory as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory as needed.
