About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Manpasand Indian Cuisine Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience for our customers.
    • Plan and execute menu cycles to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
    • Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery of ingredients.
    • Develop and implement systems to track inventory and monitor usage.
  • Food Cost Control
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food waste and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
