About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MANPASAND INDIAN CUISINE INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food preparation and handling procedures meet the highest standards of food safety and quality control.
    • Conduct regular kitchen audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food costs and improve profitability.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding kitchen environment.
Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
