Chief Research Scientist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Research Scientist to lead our research efforts in AI, embodied AI, and large language models. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing our technical roadmap, identifying new research areas, and managing research resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement research strategies to advance our AI and embodied AI capabilities.
- Conduct research and analysis on the latest developments and best practices in AI and related fields.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to identify new research areas and opportunities.
- Effectively manage research budgets and resources to achieve strategic goals.
- Publish research papers, present at conferences, and contribute to industry thought leadership.
- PhD degree in computer science or related field with a focus on decision making and reasoning, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of AI fundamentals and state-of-the-art techniques in decision making and reasoning.
- Proven track record of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.
- Experience working in industry research labs or technology companies is an asset.
- Experience building large-scale machine learning solutions for decision making, planning, reasoning, robotics, or multi-agent systems is an asset.
