About the Role

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Tax and Retirement Research. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for generating and communicating educational and informative materials related to tax, retirement, and other subject matter expert topics to our financial advisor clients and investors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate tax, retirement, and other SME messages to Fidelity's advisor clients, investors, and the general public through publications, presentations, and media interviews and appearances, with a particular focus on French language communications.
  • Identify and research tax, retirement, and selected other issues relevant to Fidelity's business.
  • Assist in the coordination and ensure consistency of communication of tax and retirement research through Fidelity's various sales channels.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of work experience related to taxation and investments.
  • A professional designation such as the CPA, master's degree, or equivalent (tax-related preferred) is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of taxation, particularly relating to the taxation of investments, individuals, and small businesses.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Public speaking ability is critical to the role.
  • Knowledge of mutual funds, retirement issues, and other industry-related matters.
  • Must be fluently bilingual in French and English.
