As a Field and Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN) with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing specialized infusion services to patients in their homes and in our clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. They will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring post-injection/infusion treatments, and providing patient education. They will also be required to report adverse events, maintain accurate records, and participate in team web-based meetings/training sessions.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Experience with IV therapy is an asset
  • Diploma/University degree in nursing or related field
  • Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate
  • Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting
  • ACLS, PALs, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets
  • Knowledge of Cell phone for making and confirming appointments/assignments and fax machines.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team
  • Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary
