We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist in Gerontology. In this role, you will provide professional registered nursing services for residents with complex and unpredictable health needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide independent nursing services, administer prescribed medical treatments, and facilitate coordination of resident care and discharge;
- Take on a leadership role within the healthcare team and work collaboratively to achieve optimal resident outcomes;
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program;
- Current active practicing registration with CRNM;
- Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing is an asset;
- Certificate in CPR; and
- Experience in Gerontological Nursing.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
