We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital

About the Role

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide professional nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services will include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.

Responsibilities

  • Previous experience in nursing will be required, varying by nursing unit.
  • Successful completion of the Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program is required.
  • Current CRNM registration is required, and active participation in professional associations is preferred.
  • Bilingualism is required, with the ability to understand and speak English and French.
  • The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families.
