We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to join our Highway De-icing Department in Mississauga, ON. This role is responsible for soliciting, processing, and submitting governmental bids and commercial quotations within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze bid requests from government agencies, determine profitability, develop pricing strategies, and present recommendations to management.
- Analyze market data and trends to identify growth and price improvement opportunities.
- Synthesize complex information and make informed decisions.
- Negotiate and administer contracts as needed.
- Collaborate with customer experience to prepare and submit bid proposals and review/record results.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure good working relationships.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to retain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
