Business Development Director for Power and Renewables
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Business Development Director for Power and Renewables to lead the business development effort for one of our most strategic markets in Western Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing the growth strategy for AtkinsRéalis Power Grids and Renewables coming from Western Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with prospective clients and with partners directly, understand the client's expectations and pain points, build and foster long-term relationships with new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and network with potential clients.
- Work as a team with our Portfolio Directors/Managers who are overlooking the P&L objectives, envisage synergies with our other global/local teams, and coordinate with our executives and/or other business units (Nuclear, or others) already present in the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to enhance our reach in Western Canada.
- Set and achieve sales targets and performance metrics aligned with AtkinsRéalis' objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and clients.
- Monitor and report on business development activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with experience in the power and renewables industry. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and monitoring and reporting on business development activities.
