Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Spark Power, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion in our assigned territory. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities and implement strategic marketing plans to increase revenues and profits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue target strategic markets and clients
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to penetrate markets with product/service offerings
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and prospects
  • Support sales initiatives by providing client relationship support and in-person sales calls
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities, plan, and execute growth strategies
  • Oversee the negotiation of contracts process in collaboration with operations and legal
  • Perform market research and analysis
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns for new products and services
  • Assist in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from clients
Requirements:
  • Expertise in business development, sales, or marketing within the electrical services market
  • Thorough understanding of electrical power systems and associated equipment
  • Strong background in business development with a working knowledge of power systems
  • Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies
  • Strong leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong sense of urgency
  • Able to manage time and prioritize workload independent of direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams
