Retail Account Director

The National Director of Retail Accounts is a key leadership position responsible for driving the success of our retail accounts strategy. As a member of the leadership team, you will be accountable for helping to drive our leadership, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee components of our retail account strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Effective management and coordination of the marketing allowance program, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Provide key support to Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) on retail account issues, ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution.
- Be responsive to field readiness, as it applies to retail accounts, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Develop, execute, and implement strategies to help the Insurance Sales team drive forward key initiatives with our retail accounts, enhancing customer relationships and driving business growth.
- Coordinate National firm events, such as HUB days, IDC University, and Insurance Specialist meetings, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Deliver national distributor and back-office training, ensuring consistent and effective execution of business strategies.
- Assist with the development of creative communications strategies focused on the Sales teams of our distributors, driving engagement and results.
- Dedicated account leadership for a selected number of firms, providing tailored support and guidance to drive business success.
- Think strategically, with a curiosity to discover ways to use agile approaches and enable business outcomes.
- Proven budget and business planning experience, with a strong understanding of financial products, including investments, banking solutions, group pension, and group benefit products.
- Excellent influencing, training, and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to analyze data and present insights effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and exercise judgment in a changing environment, with a focus on delivering results.
- Detail and planning orientation required, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
