About the Role

OpenText is seeking a highly experienced Director, Corporate Accounting to lead our corporate accounting team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the corporate US GAAP financial close process, including analysis of financial results and interpretation of trends.
  • Manage and provide overall financial leadership to the corporate accounting team, responsible for consolidations, foreign exchange, and transfer pricing.
  • Research and opine on technical US GAAP accounting matters and implement new accounting standards as required.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to drive key corporate accounting initiatives.
  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in various accounting and finance roles at a senior level within the software or high-tech industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP requirements.
  • Experience with consolidations, foreign exchange, and transfer pricing in a large multinational organization.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to balance multiple tasks of competing priorities in a changing and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
