Job Description

As an HR & Payroll Administrator, you will provide support to the human resources team by assisting with assorted HR tasks and administering payroll.

You will assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary phone screening and scheduling interviews.

Additionally, you will assist with onboarding new hires, liaising with hiring managers and IT to ensure equipment, software needs and accommodations have been provided.

You will also assist with the administration and tracking of employee benefits, vacation and absences, maintain electronic HR records, and support with information or research for potential HR projects and initiatives as needed.

The role requires administering payroll ensuring accurate pay is received for each employee (twice per month), providing all payroll-related documentation, including ROEs, T4s, and T2200s.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources & Payroll.

A solid understanding of CRA Guidelines & Regulations as it relates to the Payroll Function is essential.

Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements is also required.

A good working knowledge of MS Office is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
