Job Summary

The Senior Land Development Planner provides comprehensive planning services in the development, review, renewal, coordination of approval, and provision of advice on conformity with regional land use plans. This role ensures that interdepartmental, intergovernmental, and interagency obligations related to land use planning are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advances land use planning in a manner consistent with Environment and Climate Change policies and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensures conformity with regional land use plans and interdepartmental, intergovernmental, and interagency obligations.
  • Provides advice on land use planning and coordination of approval.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in planning or a related field from a recognized university.
  • 3 years of professional planning experience.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Institute of Planners.
