Job Title: Tile Setter
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Trusser Construction. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces to be covered with tile
- Mix and apply adhesives
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Supervise other workers
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Health care plan
- 40 hours per week
