Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Trusser Construction. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, cutting, and marking.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to ensure precise alignment and even spacing.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Install tile strips and mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all tile installation work is completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
