Job Summary

CultureLink Settlement and Community Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) program. The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance to the SWIS team, establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the team, and provide technical support to front-line staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to the SWIS team, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the SWIS team, including providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Provide technical support to front-line staff, including troubleshooting equipment and software issues.
  • Collaborate with the SWIS team to develop and implement program activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including program statistics and client information.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • One year of work experience in a community services or business setting.
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening within the past six months.
  • OCMS and iCARE experience an asset.
  • Fluency in languages other than English an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
