Job Description:

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating key initiatives related to the operations of the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR). This includes independently planning and managing small projects, supporting research infrastructure and equipment, and liaising with various departments.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a high level of literacy and numeracy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration, preferably in a scientific research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate key initiatives related to the operations of the IMHPR
  • Independently plan and manage small projects
  • Support research infrastructure and equipment
  • Liaise with various departments

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or other formal post-secondary education
  • 3+ years of work experience in administration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
