We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to drive growth strategies for the Government of Canada's Defence and National Security agencies. As the National Security and Defence Leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Build and lead a high-performance enterprise sales team to drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the territory.
- Develop overall business and go-to-market strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders and executives supporting Canada sales, including the AWS Partner Network (APN), Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, and Professional Services.
- Work closely with other Five-Eyes Alliance members, Defence System Integrators, and Solutions teams to define and execute strategic Defence Programs and initiatives.
- Manage and coach the sales team to optimal performance, driving revenue and market share in a defined region.
- Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction, maintaining a robust sales pipeline and working with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- 10+ years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Experience in managing large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the Defence and National Security market.
- 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of cloud computing and AWS solutions.
