Supplier Performance Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site supplier assessments to evaluate their manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with team members to track and resolve recurring supplier issues, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.
  • Prepare and maintain a log of manufacturing-related supplier risks and agreed-upon corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing supplier assessment reports and scorecards, outlining risks, issues, and mitigation steps from a manufacturing perspective.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Operational Excellence/Manufacturing Optimization, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma tools proficiency, including root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and Kaizen.
  • Knowledge of key systems and tools used in manufacturing environments, such as Finite Scheduling applications, MES, and MRP.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, strong business acumen, and ability to link capability assessment outcomes to business objectives.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consolidate assessment observations, identify manufacturing risks, and outline improvement actions.
