Compensation Package:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, and pension plan after 3 months of employment. Additionally, you'll enjoy weekly pay schedules, profit sharing, employee assistance programs, and other perks such as free on-site parking and easy access to public transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge to identify and source suitable parts, collaborate with suppliers to maintain positive relationships, negotiate pricing, and delivery schedules. Other key responsibilities include setting pricing strategies for parts inventory, coordinating supply chain activities related to parts management, conducting demand planning to anticipate future requirements, and performing data entry tasks to maintain accurate inventory records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position. Strong negotiation skills, bilingualism (French and English), proficiency in supply chain management, knowledge of pricing strategies, and familiarity with inventory management systems like MIR are highly valued. Good knowledge of heavy vehicles is also an asset.
