Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, including salary, benefits, and working conditions.
- Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for interviews.
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill vacant positions.
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve employee concerns and issues.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field.
- Computer and technology skills: MS Word, other software applications as required.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, flexibility, organized, and ability to work in a team.
