Social Services Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals, families, and communities in our region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement social programs that address the needs of our clients;
- Provide counseling and guidance services to individuals and families;
- Conduct assessments and analyses to identify client needs and develop effective solutions;
- Collaborate with community partners to deliver programs and services;
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and community members;
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in social work.
- Bachelor degree in social work;
- Membership in the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et thérapeutes conjugaux du Québec;
- Two years of relevant experience;
- Fluency in English; Cree or French is an asset.
