Restaurant Assistant Manager at Rocky's Donair Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Rocky's Donair Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have sufficient stock of all necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing and promotional activities, including social media and local advertising campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and proficiency in MS Office and electronic cash register systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer service and quality food preparation.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and repetitive motion.
