Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Rocky's Donair Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching to team members.
  • Manage budgets and negotiate arrangements with suppliers to optimize costs and ensure quality products.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participate in marketing plans to drive sales growth.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
