About the Role:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the IT Director's office and assist with various tasks as assigned. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, Microsoft Office, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the IT Director's office with administrative tasks
- Assist with coordinating travel arrangements and preparing claims and invoices
- Maintain accurate records and data
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in office administration
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities
- Awareness of relevant legislations impacting CATSA
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Language Profile: BBBB
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
