About the Role:


The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the IT Director's office and assist with various tasks as assigned. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, Microsoft Office, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the IT Director's office with administrative tasks
  • Assist with coordinating travel arrangements and preparing claims and invoices
  • Maintain accurate records and data
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform other related duties as required


Requirements:



  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in office administration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities


Desirable Skills:



  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities
  • Awareness of relevant legislations impacting CATSA


Working Conditions:



  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Language Profile: BBBB
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident


Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
