At McKesson, we're dedicated to delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. As a Senior Analyst, Total Rewards, you'll play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our compensation programs across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with HR Peers: Provide recommendations and advice on compensation topics and related programs to support our HR Business Partner community.
  2. Deliver Excellence: Ensure effective program delivery through HR Business Partners and occasionally provide direct support to employees and managers.
  3. Innovate and Improve: Participate in the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, activities, and tools.
  4. Drive Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research, analysis, costing, and provide initial recommendations on compensation activities and initiatives.
  5. Benchmarking and Compliance: Perform annual benchmarking analysis and ensure compliance with Pay Equity legislation and related exercises.
  6. Support Annual Review: Actively participate in the annual compensation review process, management training, and validation of proposed increases.
  7. Create New Job Families: Assist in creating new job families by conducting interviews, gathering market data, and developing appropriate salary recommendations.
  8. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of internal and external trends/issues affecting McKesson's market position, employee satisfaction, and People Strategies in Canada.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in compensation or relevant fields.

Competencies

  1. Experience in unionized environments is an asset.
  2. Proficiency in survey methodology and point-factor job evaluation systems.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Fully bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  5. Solid business acumen and customer focus.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and priorities.
  7. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Workday, or any other HRIS.

We offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience, and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$82,400 - $137,400
