Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Interior British Columbia team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Institute a disciplined business development process to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and development objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies and plans.
- Provide business development and sales coaching to internal teams to drive business growth and development.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Colliers' products and services to effectively communicate value to clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in business development and sales meetings to drive business growth and development.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts and relationships to drive business growth and development.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the project management, design and construction, or real estate industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence and persuade management, colleagues, and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
