Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at YUMMY MARKET. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Training and Supervision: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Operational Efficiency: Organize and maintain inventory, operate machinery, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
As a Bakery Team Member at YUMMY MARKET, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Supermarket or bakery department.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, reliable, team player, patient, and able to work under pressure.
