Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dr Laffa Bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
    • Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure the efficient operation of the food service department.
    • Supervise and coordinate the assembly and delivery of food trays and trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role, preferably in a bakery or restaurant environment.
    • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
    • Client-focused and able to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment

Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team-oriented setting.
