About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at YUMMY MARKET. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all baked goods are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
