About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at LAYMOON RESTAURANT & CAFE. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Bake and decorate a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
  • Train and supervise bakery staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain a clean and organized bakery environment.
  • Inspect and maintain the quality of products, ensuring they meet established standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
