Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Admissions and Recruitment will play a key role in leading the Admissions team to achieve University enrolment goals. This position will be responsible for managing assigned recruitment portfolios, recruiting students, and providing leadership support to the Admissions team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Counselling: Manage assigned recruitment portfolios, recruit students, and provide personal, individual counselling to prospective students/parents.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise Junior Admissions Counsellors, assist in coaching Admissions staff, and lead team meetings and key training opportunities.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Travel to assigned events to promote the university, establish and maintain relationships with assigned schools, churches, and organizations, and coordinate and manage day-to-day department initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster campus cooperation, mutual understanding, and appreciation through liaising with campus departments, outside institutions, parents, students, and other customers.
  • Professional Development: Expand knowledge of Admissions profession through regular involvement in professional activities, reviewing literature related to recruitment in higher education, and other topics relevant to the promotion of university education.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Preference will be given to graduates of coalition Christian Colleges and Universities.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of Admissions Counsellor experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Superior interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities, skill in developing a recruiting plan, and ability to adapt presentation content and style according to audience.
