**Position Purpose and Summary**

The Admissions Visit Assistant works within Enrolment Management (EM), and more specifically, with the Admissions Experience Coordinator to help create, plan, and execute admissions visits, events, and community outreach opportunities. The Admissions Visit Assistant will facilitate opportunities for prospective students and their families to engage with the TWU community by coordinating personalized visits throughout the year. In addition, they will provide logístical support by scheduling admissions staff on-call shifts and coordinating travel schedules. The Admissions Visit Assistant will work with a variety of departments at the university, and be required to build enthusiasm, develop partnerships, and coordinate faculty, staff, and current student involvement with the EM events and outreach programs.

**Key Areas of Accountability**
- Provide logístical coordination for year-round personalized visits for prospective students and families.
- Provide support for Preview days/weekends, Financial Aid information sessions, external recruitment fairs and events, and scheduling an on-campus/virtual presence for EM staff to engage with the public.
- Liaise with and build enthusiasm in Enrolment Management staff, coaches, faculty, and other staff as needed for individual visit participation.
- Maintain records and registration lists for individual visit attendees and prospective students. Verify, arrange, and review visit data
- Coordinate timely pre and post campus visit student follow-up by the admissions team to facilitate movement through the admissions funnel.
- In coordination with the Admissions Experience Coordinator, schedule Student Ambassadors to meet one-one with prospective students and give campus tours.
- Coordinate scheduling for on-call admissions staff and front desk. May provide coverage for front desk as needed.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to provide on-site support and attend on-campus and off-campus events.

**Standards & Requirements**

**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree required

**Experience**:Previous experience creating and executing events, preferably in an academic setting.
