Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated student intern or co-op who meets the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program
  • Eligible candidates include Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with refugee status in Canada
  • Available to work in a collaborative office environment

Role Summary:

The Social Media Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in crafting and implementing a comprehensive social commerce strategy. This position collaborates closely with the eCommerce division within the marketing team, focusing on achieving specific growth targets throughout the marketing funnel. A deep understanding of how social media initiatives influence consumer intent and purchasing behavior is essential.

As social media continues to shape cultural trends, we are looking for innovative thinkers who can create engaging, authentic content that resonates with the Gen Z audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop a full-funnel marketing program
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly performance metrics, including social-driven conversions and traffic analytics
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of CRM and eCommerce platforms with social channels
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure alignment of social commerce content with brand identity
  • Work alongside a team of social media professionals, including strategists and content managers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficient in major digital platforms such as Meta Business Manager, TikTok, YouTube, and others
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and derive actionable insights
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly
  • Experience in creative development and providing constructive feedback to enhance content quality
