Brandt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in Eastern Canada. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of the trailer industry and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, customers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for product development and innovation to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the trailer industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to sales teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Travel extensively throughout the region to meet with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales and/or product or technical support experience in the heavy construction and forestry equipment industry.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of trailer dealers and the trailer industry.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets and Outlook.
- Aggressive team player, people person, self-starter, and motivated towards goals.
- Recent driver's abstract and valid passport required.
