About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Bluescape Contracting Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and direct a team of construction workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and that all safety protocols are being followed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and healthy manner, in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, to ensure that project requirements are met and that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that may arise during construction projects, using your expertise and judgment to find effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, on-the-road job that requires frequent travel to various construction sites. You will be working outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment, and will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
