Food and Beverage Manager Job Description

The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the full range of food and beverage operations during year-round activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality, quantity, and presentation of all food and beverages meet the highest standards for freshness, appearance, and consistency.
  • Plan, develop, and implement menus and beverage lists that meet the needs of members and guests.
  • Lead and maintain a positive working environment based on excellence, discipline, learning, and development, teamwork, respect, and having fun.
  • Purchase all food and beverage-related items and equipment and manage budgets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in food and beverage management and supervision, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Exceptional service style with a genuinely warm presence, a friendly and sincere nature, and a drive for service excellence.
  • Proven abilities to supervise and motivate people and build strong working relationships in a team environment.
  • A post-secondary diploma from a recognized hospitality or culinary school is a minimum requirement.
