We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at St. Louis Bar and Grill Charlottetown. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
As a member of our kitchen team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment with staff accommodation available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: You will need to demonstrate dependability, flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
