We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Punjabi Bites Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Staff Recruitment and Training: Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of the kitchen.
- Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, physically demanding tasks, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, organization, teamwork, and time management skills to meet the demands of the role.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English language proficiency required.
