About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kona Operations. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that we are ordering the right quantities of ingredients and supplies.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our customers have a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or similar food service environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
