Position Overview

Aramark is seeking a dedicated full-time Catering Services Manager to enhance and oversee catering and conference event operations. This role is pivotal in managing all facets of catering solutions and special events, ensuring that every aspect aligns with client expectations and service excellence.



Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming requests for catering services and manage them through the catering management system.
  • Coordinate the delivery of prepared meals and set up for events based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Design and implement catering solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
  • Engage with various departments to promote Aramark's catering services across the campus.
  • Participate in community events to showcase Aramark's catering offerings.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in the planning and execution of events.
  • Train and supervise staff to uphold event standards and ensure quality in presentation.
  • Provide finalized Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are fulfilled prior to events.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on special requests or large-scale events.
  • Manage the execution of catering events of various sizes, including staffing and operational oversight.
  • Accurately report all catering-related financials, including revenue, expenses, and receivables.
  • Adhere to all food safety, occupational health, and environmental safety regulations.
  • Oversee bar operations, including inventory management and ordering.
  • Implement on-site allergen management protocols.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required for occasional use of company vehicles.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in culinary arts, hospitality, or business is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role is essential.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, and catering is mandatory.
  • Background in marketing or sales within the hospitality or retail industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability and effective time-management skills to work independently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
