Position Overview

Aramark is seeking a dedicated full-time Catering Services Manager to enhance and oversee catering and conference event operations. This role is pivotal in managing all facets of catering solutions and special events, ensuring alignment with client expectations and service excellence.



Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming requests for catering services and input data into the catering management system.
  • Oversee the delivery of prepared meals and the setup of events based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Design and implement catering solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
  • Engage with various departments to promote Aramark's catering services.
  • Participate in community events to enhance visibility and market Aramark's offerings.
  • Ensure consistent quality in the planning and execution of events.
  • Train and supervise staff to uphold event standards and ensure high-quality presentations.
  • Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are fulfilled prior to events.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef regarding special requests or significant events.
  • Manage catering events of varying sizes, including staffing and operational oversight.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all catering-related financials, including revenue and expenses.
  • Adhere to all food safety, occupational health, and environmental safety regulations.
  • Supervise bar operations, including inventory management and ordering.
  • Implement on-site allergen management protocols.

Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license is required for occasional use of company vehicles.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in culinary arts, hospitality, or business is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity is essential.
  • Prior experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, and catering is mandatory.
  • Marketing or sales experience within the hospitality or retail sectors is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability and effective time-management skills to work independently.
  • Availability for event-based hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required.
  • Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as mandated.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
