Position Overview
Aramark is seeking a dedicated full-time Catering Services Manager to enhance and oversee catering and conference event operations. This role is pivotal in managing all facets of catering solutions and special events, ensuring that all activities align with client expectations and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming requests for catering services using the CaterTrax catering management system.
- Coordinate the delivery of prepared meals and the setup of events based on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Design and implement catering solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Engage with various departments to promote Aramark's catering services across the campus.
- Participate in community events to showcase and market Aramark's catering offerings.
- Ensure consistent quality in the planning and execution of events.
- Train and supervise staff to uphold event standards and guarantee quality in the final presentation.
- Provide finalized Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are fulfilled prior to the event.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef regarding special requests or significant events.
- Oversee the execution of catering events of varying sizes, including staffing and management responsibilities.
- Accurately report all catering-related revenues, expenses, and receivables.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, occupational health, and environmental safety regulations.
- Manage Bar Operations, including ordering supplies and conducting weekly inventory checks.
- Follow established allergen guidelines on-site.

Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required for occasional use of a fleet vehicle.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in culinary arts, hospitality, or business is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity is essential.
- Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in events, hospitality, and catering is necessary.
- Previous marketing or sales experience within the hospitality or retail sectors is a plus.
- Must demonstrate reliability and possess effective time-management skills for autonomous work.
- Availability for event-based hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
